Lady Brenda Strickland, affectionately called “Lady B,” is a devoted woman of faith and dynamic ministry leader with a deep commitment to serving God, empowering others, and advancing the Kingdom with excellence. She is the proud daughter of the late Mr. Theadous Clark and Mrs. Willie Ruth Hurt. Lady B is married to Bishop Michael A. Strickland, and together they are the parents of three daughters: Briana Michelle, Morgan Lynn, and Audria Hope Celeste.
Lady B is a graduate of Clayton State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in integrative studies. She brings more than two decades of professional experience in the banking industry as a banking specialist and manager. She currently serves in Clayton County Government, where she continues to demonstrate her commitment to excellence and service.
Alongside her husband, Bishop Strickland, Lady B faithfully and diligently serves the congregation at Victory Tabernacle Church International, embracing their shared vision to become “the church that God is pleased with and smiles upon.” She especially ministers to, mentors, and empowers women to BE—to BEcome all that God has called them to BE. Lady B oversees the Heart2Heart Women’s Ministry, creating opportunities for women to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, discover their purpose, and walk boldly in their God-given potential. Her life exemplifies Proverbs 31:28: “Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her.”
Lady B is also a graduate of the second cohort of the International Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Inc. Leadership Academy, reflecting her commitment to personal development, ministry leadership, and service. She has been appointed to various leadership positions in the Association at the local, state, and, international levels. She serves as treasurer in the Atlanta Chapter of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, second vice president of the Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, and worship chair of the International Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Inc. In recognition of her exemplary leadership, integrity, vision and commitment to excellence, Lady B was honored with the 2026 Leadership of Excellence Award by BrokeCan, Inc.
As Lady Brenda continues to grow in Christ and expand her influence, she remains passionate about worship, service, mentoring young women, encouraging married couples, and empowering the people of God. Whether ministering from a platform or serving behind the scenes, she leads with grace, authenticity, compassion and excellence.
